TCC Control Valve – The TCC control valve is controlled by signal pressure from the TCC solenoid valve. The TCC control valve directs torque converter pressure to the release side of the TCC and into the fluid cooler circuit. The control valve also directs regulated apply pressure to the TCC. The control valve is held in the release position by spring force when the TCC solenoid valve is de-energised. When the EAT ECU energises the TCC solenoid, signal pressure from the regulator valve moves the control valve against the spring force into the apply position. This allows regulated pressure to be applied to the TCC apply circuit.
