PERSONALITY → DISPLAY in the control menu. Connecting a DMX signal wakes up the display. DMX address setting The DMX address, also known as the start channel, is the first channel used to receive instructions from the controller. For independent control, each fixture must be assigned its own control channels. Two MAC Aura XB fixtures of the same type may share the same address, however, if identical behavior is desired. Address sharing can be useful for diagnostic purposes and symmetric control, particularly when combined with the inverse pan and tilt options. The DMX address is configured using the DMX ADDRESS menu in the control panel. The highest address that you can select is automatically limited to make sure that enough channels are available for the fixture – taking into account the mode that it is set to – within the 512 channels available in one DMX universe.
