 promoting and facilitating methods-related events across the university holding events promoting methods such as the Methods Fair and the Summer School methods@manchester

@methodsMcr w w w. methods. man chest era cu k SUMMER SCHOOL methods@manchester Summer School is now into its sixth year. The school offers a range of specialised courses covering a variety of topics that are particularly relevant to postgraduate and ECR research inhumanities and social sciences. The selection includes software training, qualitative and quantitative analysis, area studies, and research design. The course content is based on approaches from across the various schools in the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Manchester. Each course will deliver four days of content to a five-day timetable, unless otherwise stated (Monday afternoon to Friday lunchtime. The summer school will take place at the Oxford Road campus of the University of Manchester.

2018 is set to witness new courses taking place as well as the return of several courses which have run over the previous years. Teaching is delivered by experts from across the University of Manchester are external academics brought into the Summer School due to their outstanding expertise in the relevant fields.
